The Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences (CRAS), has taken delivery of two API Legacy Plus consoles, one for each of their teaching facilities in Tempe and Gilbert Arizona. "We went with API because of their solid reputation for build and audio quality," says Administrator Kirt Hamm. "The Conservatory's prime gear directive is to expose our students to the best consoles, preamps, speakers and mics available in all our studios and live rooms." The CRAS programs cover recording, production, and live and studio engineering in eight studios and a live sound venue. The APIs were slated to be installed over the Christmas break and should be in use by the Recording Arts program in January 2011.
